How an expectation comes to be experienced as perception
The nervous system does not record what happens: it anticipates what is going to happen and corrects the difference. When a prediction reaches sufficient precision it stops being experienced as an expectation and starts being experienced as perception, and the session examines what follows from that change of status in clinical practice.

Four fields of information and the compatibility of the intervention
A correct intervention aimed at the wrong level does not fail for being insufficient: it fails because it is formulated in a language that level does not translate. The session describes the four levels at which experience is organised and the criteria for recognising which one a person is operating at in a given moment.

The window in which emotional learning becomes modifiable again
A consolidated emotional memory is not fixed: when reactivated it enters, for a limited interval, a state in which it admits modification, and it consolidates again afterwards. The session develops which conditions open that window and what distinguishes modifying the original learning from superimposing another one that competes with it.

Mechanism of installation and the forms they take
A survival imprint can be read as an interoceptive prediction that became frozen: the system generated an anticipation in a moment of shock and never updated it. The session develops the mechanism by which an imprint is installed and the configurations this pattern most often takes.
